TRS trying by all means to control damage

TRS leaders are trying by all means to control the damage for the party and preparing rest of the leaders for upcoming by poll. To retain Huzurabad seat, TRS has plan to come up with different strategies which were used in MLA elections, Sagar  bypoll. Chief Minister  K.Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) had directed senior leaders for a three month campaign which will be headed by him personally and with Ministers Harish Rao and Gangula Kamalakar would be there. KCR knows that any unfavourable result will not look good for the party and chance of raising voices within the party may be increase besides empowering the opposition parties. MLAs, MPTCs are directed to reach out to every voter before bypoll takes place.

Wooing BC and Reddy leader to counter Etala?

Another strategy by TRS chief is to bring a BC leader from Karimnagar district into the party. Efforts are being made to bring in another BC leader to fill the BC leaders deficit created by the resignation of former minister Etela Rajendra. KCR is keen on taking TTDP President L. Ramana into party and for this party offered one of the MLC posts which are to be filled through MLAs’ quota and Governor’s quota.

On the other hand, TRS leaders found that BJP leader Peddireddy is not happy with the entry of Rajender into party. Knowing that, TRS leaders swung into action and wooing Peddireddy into TRS. There are rumours that Peddireddy will be offered to contest in by poll on TRS seat if he joins.

District to be named after P.V. Narasimha Rao

The creation of a new district with Huzurabad as Head quarters has been a long standing demand. With this it can satisfy the demand of locals and neutralise the impact of Etala Rajender. Now the speculations are heard once again that Government has a plan to name P.V.Narasimha Rao district by withdrawing district status of Warangal (urban) and shift parts to Huzurabad.

Vangara, native place of former Prime Minister P.V.Narasimha Rao is just ten kilometres from Huzurabad town. Centenary celebrations will conclude  in grand scale in a few days and KCR who is expected to visit Vangara where he is expected to announce the name of the new district.

Not easy for TRS, says ground report

Etala Rajender is well known to each and every voter of the constituency who has a strong base. The allegations against Rajender would not impact the grass root voters at present. They strongly believe that TRS chief sacked their leader in a crude and unjust manner. Rajender, who worked for the movement kept good communications in the constituency and BC voters are ready to support him in the bypoll. There is not that much vote bank for saffron in the constituency and it all depend upon Rajender’s goodwill and his tactics learnt during 20 years of association with his guru, KCR.

Rajender has a plan to field his wife Jamuna in the by-elections. If she loses also, his image will not be dented much and if she wins it will prove his clout. Will BJP give a chance to him to raise voice against KCR? Is a big point to be noted as it not happened with few leaders who joined saffron party earlier, say his aides.

But don’t forget that KCR and Harish combination can come up with a masterstroke.  By poll may take place in September and until then it is tough time for Rajender to fight and counter ruling party’s gimmicks.
