Hyderabad: Etala Rajender will join BJP in presence of Nadda in New Delhi soon. Rajender admitted that he met Union Home Affairs Minister of State, Kishan Reddy, TBJP President Bandi Sanjay, former MP Jitender Reddy, D.K. Aruna along with Vivek in a farm house and discussed future strategy. It is learnt that party state president Bandi Sanjay has taken the issue of Etala to the attention of the national leadership. Later Rajender also discussed with constituency leaders and his close associates at his residence. Majority of the leaders the former minister consulted suggested that joining BJP was the right decision.

Konda, Kodandaram mediate for Congress
Kond Visweswara Reddy, Chevella Ex-MP and a nephew of Rajender, along with Prof Kodandaram met former minister Etala at his residence on Thursday morning. They advised Rajender to rethink on the decision of joining the BJP and requested him to go for a new party instead, to mobilize the support of anti-KCR forces on a single platform. Congress MP Revanth Reddy invited former minister into Congress but latter has decided to go to the BJP.

Now Rajender will join BJP in first week of June and will resign from MLA post. He will fight on BJP ticket against TRS for the first time.
Internal disputes in BJP widen
Inviting Rajender into party without discussing with local BJP leaders like E. Peddireddy and veeresalingam led to severe disputes within the party. ‘How can they hold talks without informing me?’ asked Peddireddy. A rumour is making rounds which says Peddireddy might join TRS party in coming days and fight against Rajender.
