Hyderabad: Telangana State is going to witness another political party in a few days as per political sources. The party will be launched by former minister Etala Rajender who had already started ground work. Though rumours have been circulating from day one after he was sacked from cabinet, the new profile picture on Rajender’s Twitter account of confirms the news.

The picture with Rajender in Green colour towel or kanduva is gaining attention. The back drop with Telangana thalli and statues of martyrs on one side and Jyothirao Phule, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, Prof.Jayashankar photos on other side indicates that Rajender is keen on focusing on backward class communities. The total picture frame is filled with blue, green and yellow colours adding to its feel and look factors.

Rajender is a well known BC leader who became strong in the state after separate statehood agitation and continued to pay his role even after Telangana State was achieved. He won six times as MLA and now with slogan of “self respect ( Aathamabhimanam) is coming in front of public aiming guns at TRS party. He met leaders of various parties like BJP, congress, and dissents of ruling party and requested their help in his fight against ruling party. Rajender will hold a huge public meeting in Karimnagar or Warangal once the Covid pandemic gets slower and he is likely to resign as MLA on the day of massive public meeting.

TRS moves steps to counter Rajender’s plan
CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) knows very well about Rajender’s strength and mindset. He immediately gave responsibility to minister Gangula Kamalakar to focus on district leaders to motivate them to stay back with the party. At the same time, Gangula also came down on Rajender saying that TRS is the only party which is wedded to the welfare of backward classes and KCR is the best Chief Minister for fulfilling the dreams of backward communities.

But that move appears to have not given any advantage to ruling party. With Rajender gaining ground support from few districts of Telangana, KCR brought in the seasoned trouble shooter Harish Rao for attacking Rajender and to win over the party’s Huzurabad leaders.

Differences in Congress leaders
Initially political experts thought that Rajender will join Congress party. There were divergent opinions expressed by different groups of the Congress leaders at Gandhi Bhavan on inviting Rajender to the Congress party. Later, news spread that Rajender will join hands with former MP Konda Visweswar Reddy and Revanth Reddy, but ending these rumours, it is hinted that Rajender will launch a new political party in coming days.
