- Ayush Commission submits its report to CM
Amravati: The long waiting period is keeping public tense. They are emotionally and psychologically connected to Anadayya medicine after they came to know that it prevents and cures corona. Government has halted distribution of medicine temporarily and directed Ayush and ICMR for scientific study of the drug and its ingredients. Now a house motion petition has been filed by Advocate Balaji on behalf of Madineni Umamaheswara Nayudu in High Court. As per the petitioner, Anandayya is giving medicine for the prevention of corona and many people recovered after taking the herbal drug. But AP government suddenly stopped the distribution of the drug, which is preventing people from taking the drug. Advocate Balaji wrote a letter to High Court seeking permission for a trial.
Ayush Report final, not ICMR
According to YSRCP MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy, ICMR will not involve in the scientific study of Anandayya’s medicine. The medicine does not contain any chemical substances or anything related to Allopathy, so the involvement of ICMR is ruled out. Ayush will deal with it until the final permission from the ministry is obtained, MLA said.
Ayush Commission gave green signal for the drug but said that it will be considered as Herb medicine until scientific certification is done. Ramulu, representative of the commission, has said in a media conference that he had submitted the report to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
TTD Chairman Y.V.Subba Reddy said that there are no harmful substances in Anandayya’s medicine and soon government will start distributing the medicine. No need to present in person at Krishnapatnam for medicine and the government will send through post for the patient or for person in need, added Y.V.Subba Reddy.
Elaborate security arrangements were made for Anandayya at Krishnapatnam by Nellore police department. AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will review Ayush report in the evening. People are hopeful that distribution of medicine will begin shortly, but CM Jagan ordered not to distribute it until final written certificate is received from Ayush ministry. Meanwhile, Ongole MP Magunat Srinivasa Reddy who went to meet Anandayya was not allowed to meet him and the MP had to return without seeing herbal medicine practitioner. The man sitting on Anandayya’s side in the photograph published above is the teacher who took the medicine and rumoured to have died. He is alive and out of danger.
