- May join congress in coming days, says sources
- Huzurbad Congress leaders support Etala
Hyderabad: Etala Rajender, a former minister who was sacked from cabinet on the allegation of land grabbing appears to be moving towards Congress party, says sources. He met CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Tuesday and had a long discussion with him. Though Etala said that it was part of his decision to meet leaders of all parties, this meeting has political significance. Rajender confessed that he was blamed for land grabs. It is well known that Rajender has been sacked from the ministry on charges of encroaching on assigned lands in Masaipet and Hakimpet. The allegations were made against his followers too that they grabbed SriSitaramachandraswamy Temple lands in Devarayanjal. Government appointed a four member committee on these allegations and inquiry is going on.
