Amarvati: AP BJP has a plan to start Rathyatra which will be finalized after the core committee meeting in Vizag on 17th. Bjp took a key decision to agitate against the idol demolitions in state and to gain Hinduthva vote from the Rathyatra.
The Rathyatra will start from Ramatheertham and end at kapiltheertham, Tirumala. National leaders will be partners in the Rathyatra as per BJP sources.
Attack on idols in AP state triggered controversy nationwide for the past few days. TDP, YCP and BJP are engaged in war of words after the incidents took place. AP government came up with preventive steps to safeguard the religious harmony.

Government has set up a 20 member state level committee which is headed by CS Adityanath das. Chief Secretaries, revenue and minority welfare departments, will be part of the committee. State committee will have a representative from all religions as members. Main intention and aim of the committee is to maintain religious harmony in the State.
