Bhuma Akhilapriya Bail plea rejected

  • Court orders for police custody up to Jan 13
  • Setback for Bhuma family

Hyderabad: The Secunderabad Court rejected the bail plea of Bhuma Akhilapriya, former TDP minister, and ordered her to be in police custody for 3 days. She will be in custody upto January 13th, which is a major setback for her and Bhuma family members.

Police argued that Akhilapriya is an influential person and can threaten witness if granted bail. She is politically and financially influenced and prime accused in the case, police argued in the court. Akhilapriya was booked under different sections like dacoit, kidnap which made difficult for her to get bail as per sources..

She was A1 in the kidnap case of three brothers of Bowenpally who are said to be nephew of PA of Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). Police hunt is going for Akhilapriya’s husband Bhargav Ram. As per police sources, Search operations are going on in Guntur, Kurnool, Bangalore and Mysore. Bhargav Ram along with Guntur Srinu gang kidnapped Praveen Rao and his two brothers in land dispute, according to police FIR.

Many petty cases, murder and kidnap cases  pending in Kurnool, Allagadda PS on Bhargav Ram were nor proven yet. Meanwhile,  Mounika Reddy, Akhilapriya’s younger sister alleged that YCP and TRS are jointly handling the case to mount pressure on her sister to join in YSRCP. Once my sister gets bail, I will reveal all the names who are in back ground, Mounkia said.
