When asked the reasons for such a celebration by Congress workers on Karnataka victory, Khammam Town Congress president Javed Mahammad said, “There were five reasons for their cloud nine situation. Firstly, Congress workers are waiting for a good show in a big state like Karnataka after Himachala Pradesh win. Paying dividends to the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Rahul Gandi and unity that was shown by ‘Congress Twins’ Siddaramaiah and D K Siva Kumar and reaping of good results are second and third reasons. Fourthly, the people there had given weight to the manifesto of Congress. All most all the party workers in Telangana are expecting such a scenario in Telangana is the fifth reason.”
