BRS failed to give its national agenda in Khammam-Bhatti

CLP leader Bhatti Vikrmarka says that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao, who organised the first BRS meeting amidst fanfare, failed to divulge its agenda in the national politics. “BRS, before public meeting posed to give a ‘Disa and Dasa’ to the national politics, but it did not place its national agenda before the people. Mere speaking against BJP government and its policies in a rhetoric style will not have any weight and they will not help defeat saffron party at centre. Clarity of thought in policies, clear cut agenda and how to face BJP are very important for a national party. The first BRS meeting held in Khammam failed on this account”.

Bhatti said that Khammam meeting not only did not give any sense of direction to the nation but not even  Khammam district. Every erstwhile district in Telangana had a university, but not  Khammam. KCR had not even referred the issue in his speech. “There are people in Khammam, who like freedom of expression, civil rights and freedom of press. They heard the speeches of every political party and come to an opinion. But, BRS failed to project itself due to lack of clear cut agenda”, he said. (eom
