Amravati: Andhra Pradesh CID police served notice to former minister Narayana on Wednesday in Hyderabad. As Narayana was unavailable at home, CID officials handed over notice to his wife Rama Devi. The notice states that Narayana should present himself at Regional CID office in Vijayawada on March 22nd at 11 am. This notice is in connection with the investigation of Amaravati land scam, particularly of assigned one. Cases like 120 B ( Conspiracy) and sections 166,167 and 217 of IPC  read with Prohibition of Assigned Lands Alienation Act of 1977 and SC/ST prevention of Atrocities Act were filed.

Raids on Narayana institutions

After issuing notice to Narayana, CID raids were conducted on Narayana Educational Institutions, offices and residences   of former minister. The exact reasons behind the raids were not known. This is not for the first time, CID conducted raids on Educational Institutions, and previously the CID officials could not prove anything in the raids.  TDP leaders say, it is just a political vendetta and nothing can happen to their leaders with these raids.

Chandrababu Naidu the Target?

AP CID issued notices to former chief minister of AP, Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday early hours asking him to appear before CID office in Vijayawada on March 23rd. Notice served to Narayana says that he should appear a day before than  Naidu. Now after the raids on Narayana offices, TDP leaders are thinking that the same raids will be conducted on CBN’s offices and residences. Naidu is busy with consulting the advocates for their opinion whether to attend or not on March 23rd the investigation by the CID. The case which was filed now has been already stayed in AP High Court and it has nothing to do with these news sections filed, says TDP leaders. But CID officials say, the assigned land scam is a big fraud and charges will be filed on Naidu in coming days.
