Non Agricultural registration in Telangana from Nov 23rd

  • After high level meeting at Pragathi Bhavan, CM announced the date
  • Dharani Portal problems will be solved in 3 to 4 days
  • Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar will launch the process of registration on 23rd

Hyderabad: Registrations of non-agricultural lands in Telangana will resume from Nov 23rd according to Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), who held a high level meeting at Pragathi Bhavan with senior officials on Sunday. The Chief Minister felt that people are happy in registering their agricultural lands through Dharani portal and the feed back the government has been getting is satisfactory. “People are of the view that new era has begun in land registration and the commencement of non-agricultural lands will take place after solving minor issues pertained to Dharani portal” CM said.

Registrations in Telangana state have been halted from 8 Sep 2020. New Revenue Act was introduced in Assembly and the process of agricultural lands resumed from 2nd Nov after Dharani portal was launched on Oct 29th.

Later, the government came up with a reason to halt the registrations was to provide quality services to citizens with utmost care. Now people of Telangana expressed their happiness for clearing the date to go ahead with registrations of non-agricultural lands. However, the CM did not say anything about the lands or plots which are pending under LRS.
