Hyderabad: Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) tested positive for Corona virus on Monday evening. He has mild symptoms and was isolated at his farm house at Erravalli which was officially confirmed by a note from Chief Secretary. Doctors are closely monitoring the health condition of KCR.
Telangana reported 4009 cases in last 24 hours of the total 83,089 tests done. The fatality rate stands at 0.51% against the national average of 1.2%. In all districts of Telangana, it is observed there is surge in cases, particularly the Greater Hyderabad is worst hit when compared to other places. Nizamabad district, which is bordering Maharashtra is another worst hit with cases.
Nearly 20 people came from Maharashtra to participate in a Ustav near a village of Nizamabad who became super spreaders causing 435 cases. This is said to be one of the highest causes in surge of cases in Nizamabad district.
