Hyderabad: Balapur laddu auction sets a new record. Kadapa MLC Ramesh Yadav along with Marri Shashank Reddy got laddu for Rs 18 lakh 90 thousand.
Its 1.3 lakh more than 2019 auction yielded. In 2019, Ramireddy acquired the pool for 17 lakh 60 thousand.
The laddu was not auctioned last year due to the corona. 25 people participated in the laddu auction. The laddu auction started at Rs 1,116 and ended at Rs 18.90 lakh.
Laddu was won by Marri Shashank Reddy and AP MLC Ramesh Yadav. The laddu auction has been going on for almost 27 years. Mohan Reddy first acquired the pool in 1994 for Rs.450. Balapur laddu will be given as a gift to AP CM Jagan, Ramesh Yadav, Kadapa MLC said.
Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsavs are reminiscent of Balapur Laddu. Every year, many rich people compete to get this laddu. Not in hundreds or thousands, Lakhs speak about Balapur laddu. Rewriting old records in the auction held in 2021, Marri Shashank Reddy won Rs 18 lakh 90 thousand in the auction song in partnership with Ramesh Yadav.
