AP Congress Amaravati rally on 20

  • Reiterates Amaravati should continue as capital
  • ‘YCP, Jana Sena, TDP working under Modi’s umbrella’
  • Plans huge rally at Uddandrayuni Palem

Amravati: AP Congress is planning a huge rally to reiterate Amaravati should continue as capital of the new State. Addressing media persons, Mastan Vali, Ex MLA from Guntur said that all three parties, YCP, Jana Sena, and TDP, are working under umbrella of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

All the three parties cheated the people of Andhra Pradesh in their own style and they are together in the plan to shift the capital from Amaravati, Mastan Vali said. He repeated that party is against the concept of three capitals. “After taking the decision unanimously by all parties about the capital, now what is the reason for the ‘U’ turn?”, he questioned government.

The Congress party which could not win a single seat in 2019 assembly elections is looking at various options for growth. The party planned to raise different issues in public domain from 20th November. The party is trying to gear up for upcoming municipal elections and want to establish itself by showing creditable performance from ground level.

Tirupati Lok Sabha by-election is due along with the municipal election and the party is planning to highlight burning issues such as the u-turn on the capital and go to the public. It is the first serious attempt made by the Congress party which was in power till 2014 to reestablish itself.
