WHO AM I?

Divine Musings – 7

I cleansed my body, watched my breath, explored
the mind, expounded deep wisdom and dwelled
in rhapsody. But still a vacuum welled
inside drifting with it some flotsam stored.
Oh, who am I, from which high sky, I’s poured
into this wretched world and who fuelled
this life engine in me, and why propelled?
I wish to know who He’s the world adored.

Before I settle scores with ‘I’, I must
scuttle to find that ‘He’! Oh where is He?
Inside and out they say, as core and crust.
I muse; He’s here, as they, as us and we;
in this collective society, in trust
and love as one esprit…Oh now I see!
