No tie with Jana Sena : Sanjay

Hyderabad: Bandi Sanjay, MP and TS BJP president, made it clear on Tuesday that the BJP’s alliance with Jana Sena is limited to Andhra Pradesh. The BJP will not have any alliance with the Jana Sena in Telangana State. He said his party would contest for all the 150 wards in Greater Hyderabad region.

There were unconfirmed reports on Monday that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan was toying with the idea of putting up candidates in some wards where the settlers in considerable numbers. It was said that he had discussed this aspect at his meeting with students and his party executive committee. With the announcement made by Sanjay, the chances of Jana Sena contesting are remote. YSRCP does not appear to be planning to contest. TDP is silent on the question of contesting so far. One does not know if the alliance between the TDP and the Congress which was there during the assembly elections in 2018 and Lok Sabha elections in 2019 is still valid.
