Modi in Gujarat, launches Arogyavan

Ahmedabad: In a two day visit to Gujarat, PM Modi will launch new projects for his home state  including tourism and Rastriya Ekta divas, celebrating birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabai Patel. This is the first visit by PM Modi to Guajarat after the breakout of Covid pandemic in March.

Arogyavan in 17 acres launched

Gujarat  Governor Aacharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Rupani have received Modi at Ahmadabad airport on Friday. From there the PM went to Kevadiya where he launched ‘Arogyavan’. It is located in 17 acres with medicinal and health related plants which show the awareness of plants in wellness of human life. Along with this, PM Modi inaugurated Sardar Patel Zoological Park.

Pays Tribute to Keshubhai Patel

PM Modi met late Keshubhia patel family members at latter’s residence where he paid tribute to 92 year old, former CM of Gujarat who passed away on Thursday. He spent some time with Patel’s kin and consoled them. He recalled his association with Keshubhai which he felt was a long and fruitful one.

Visit to Sardar Sarovar on Saturday

PM Modi will visit Statue of Unity on Oct 31. On the day he will pay tributes to first Home Minister of Independent India, Iron man, late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. From there he will launch a seaplane service connecting Kevadiya and Ahmedabad which is near Sardar Sarovar Dam where he will board a seaplane and reach Sabarmati River front.
