Amravati: YCP Government is keen on making Vizag as executive capital of Andhra Pradesh and for this development work is going on in full swing.YCP made it clear that CM will run the administration from Visakhapatnam. State government has paid special attention to the development of Visakhapatnam with steps being taken to provide road and residential facilities. Apart from the development of parks, plans are afoot to construct retaining walls for water bodies and drainage systems under GVMC and to set up recycling plants to prevent sewage from entering the sea.
Vizag with Andhra University for education, many industries for employment, water, air, road and rail are best suitable for transportation and for capital. Efforts are being made to transform the existing slum-free city into a full-fledged state of the art facility and to help tourism development. Vizag city will now be extended from Bheemili to Anakapalli and from Pendurthi to Paravada with development of 98 wards. New six lane roads will be constructed from Kailasagiri to Bhogapuram airport. The controversial Mudasarlova Park will be developed as national level Botanical garden. CM already released Rs. 100 crore for the development of the park
District Collector has set up a committee with his senior officers to ensure that work is carried out continuously under supervision of GVMC. The state government is trying to provide all the facilities to make Visakhapatnam the administrative capital.
