Hyderabad: For a few months, voice in TRS is touching peak about IT Minister, K.Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) to be second chief minister of Telangana. Today health minister Etela Rajender joined his voice in focusing KTR as future CM. Addressing media, Etela Rajender said that KTR has all qualifications to be CM of Telangana. He further said that for 99% of works, instead of KCR, KTR is attending and looking after. This reply is to a question by a media person about the absence of CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on vaccine launch programme on Jan 16.
KTR has all the qualifications
It is true that KTR has all the qualifications for CM of Telangana, felt a senior journalist. KTR is holding second place in the party who is capable of running administration. He has good name in the youth and he is also a very good orator. He can hold party without rise in the number of dissidents, political experts felt. KCR wants to jump into national politics but getting on hold for a few years. GHMC results delayed the decision further of making KTR CM. All the development works are going in brisk pace, once they took a shape, KCR will officially announce the matter, say TRS sources.

After Yadadri inaugural
February 18 is said to be an auspicious day, before that CM will complete Yadadri temple work and perform pooja and will announce the date, another speculation in social media says. Date may differ, but the decision looks firm, felt another TRS senior leader.

But there is split in the voice of TRS cadre about the decision. All parties are in a hope that ‘Jamili elections’ will take place in 2022 and for one year it is not good to change CM which may impact the results. If people give mandate for TRS party for third time, then KCR can take decision of making KTR CM who will have time for five years is the strong feeling from TRS ground cadre.
TBJP President’s version is different
TBNJP President Bandi Sanjay felt that there will be a clear split in the party if KCR announces KTR as CM. Party will split and a new party would be formed, so KCR will never make KTR CM and it is a game plan, said Bandi Sanjay. Now before Nagarjuna Sagar bypoll, the news that KTR will be next CM is making rounds in social media platform and in TRS party internally. Let us wait and see how politics shape out in Telangana in coming days.
