- Drug scandal shakes Tollywood once again
- Actress questioned by NCB while peddler Syed arrested
Hyderabad: Tollywood was in news again, but this time once again on drug scandal. Mumbai police who are conducting raids on hotels from Jan 1st on the eve of New Year celebrations, found 400gm of Mephedrone during their raids. Suspect was identified as Chand Sheikh, a resident of Bandra. Sheikh supplied the drug to Sayeed who was red handily caught by NCB in a hotel along with Tollywood actress.
Name of the actress has not been revealed yet by NCB sources but she acted as heroine in four films prior as according to the investigations by Prime Post. NCB along with police raided room no 204 of a hotel in Bhayandar(East) when Sayeed fled from spot. NCB recovered drugs banned under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotrophic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, during the search.
Tollywood actress is being questioned and being examined in the case who reached Mumbai on Januray 1st from Hyderabad. In continuation of ongoing action by NCB against drug Mephedrone, they found drugs in a scooter of person by name Chand, who said he is supplying to Sayeed in a hotel. Hunt is going on for Sayeed who is a resident of Mira road but mainly lives in hotels where he would collect drugs from peddlers and supply to areas like Bandra.

Police officials say that drugs continue to be supplied for two reasons, one is drug addiction and other is that its a very lucrative business.
