Hyderabad: Bhongir MP Komatireddy venkat Reddy surprised all by interacting with the followers of late YSR at JRC Convention centre on the eve of launch of YSRTP. He praised the services of former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh late YSR and wished Sharmila all the best. Later, he went to Bhongir and attended the YSR’s Jayanthi programmes in his constituency.

The absence of MP during new TPCC President Revanth’s oath taking ceremony at Gandhi Bhavan and his presence at JRC gave rise to speculations that the MP may join YSRTP. However, Komatireddy clarified that he will be in Congress only and no idea of shifting party as of now.

The MP said that no one, including PCC President, has the capacity to help all Congress candidates across the state win in the coming assembly elections. Bhongir MP further said that there are no winners for his neighbouring constituencies who can do it without his help. “I have some work and unable to attend TPCC President oath taking function, even Jeevan reddy also did not go. Revanth could not make the Congress candidates in Malkajgiri constituency in GHMC elections. The two corporators who won on congress tickets, also due to their hard work and on their own steam. The MP said that party should confirm tickets a year before elections. Whether I go to Gandhi Bhavan or not, I will make all seven candidates in Bhovangir Lok Sabha constituency win , Komatireddy added.
