King Charles pays homage to his mother Elizabeth

King Chales addressed the nation on Friday following the death of the England’s queen Elizabeth. Queen Elizabeth II, 96, breathed her last on Thursday. She had her towering presence in the world stage for seven eventful decades. She was the longest serving queen of England and second longest serving monarch in world history.

Queen Elizabeth-II was loved by her people. She lived well. Charles promised his life long service in all the countries. “There is a deep sense of gratitude where my mother has served” he said.

“The affection and admiration became a hallmark of her realm. She combined these qualities. I pay tribute to my mother’s memories. I know her death brings sadness. I share that with you all,”said the king.

“I solemnly pledge to uphold the constitutional principles at the heart of our nation. Camila becomes my queen consort, she will bring devotion to duty and as my heir, William, will succeed me and take on the responsibility of Prince of Wales.

“I want to also express love for Harry and Maghan as they build their life overseas,” said Charles. Kate, William’s wife, will automatically becomes the princess of Wales.
