India wins 2nd ODI against Sri Lanka

Deepak Chahar Deepak Chahar got the second ODI tilted in favour of India by his solid batting performance on Sunday in Sri Lanka. The visitors won by three wickets. India made 277 for seven wickets in 49.1 overs in response to Sri Lanka’s 275/9. India is unbeaten with a lead of 2-0 in 3-match series. Chahar remained not out till the end with Bhuvnesh keeping him company at the other end. Deepak Chahar scored 69 runs. Bhuvneshwar remained not out with 19. Captain Shikhar Dhavan score 29 while Manish Pandey contributed 37 and Krunal Pande made 35.

Sir Lankan bowler Wanindu Hasaranga was brilliant with the ball with three wickets. He got both the Indian openers in his first spell and then dismissed  Krunal Pande who had settled down.  Surya Kumar Yadva had made 53

For India Yuzcendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets each. Both the teams will meet on Friday for the third ODI at the same venue.
