- Bengaluru-Idupulapaya-Hyderabad journey on the day of Party launch
- She would garland YSR statue at Panjagutta before going to JRC Hall
Hyderabd: YS Sharmila Reddy will be launching her party YSRTP on the 8th, the birth anniversary of her father. She would be going to Idupulapaya from Bengaluru on 8th morning by road and pay tributes to her father YS Rajasekhara Reddy at 8.30 am. From there she will be flying by a special flight to reach Begumpet airport at 2 pm. Then, she would garland YSR statue at Panjagutta centre at 3 pm and would go to JRC Function Hall at Jubilee Hills at 4pm and announce the launching of TSRTP at 5 pm.
Sharmila’s mother Vijayamma will be with her at the time of launching the party. Vijayamma was there with Sharmila when she addressed a public meeting at Khammam some time ago. At Khammam meeting, Sharmila criticized Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhara Rao (KCR) who is yet to give a retort. KCR’s ministers have been calling YSR a water thief in context of Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation project pursued by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. A dispute with AP is raging on Krishna water but KCR has not blamed Jagan or YSR by name so far.
Sharmila has been basing all her efforts and discourse on the positive image enjoyed by YSR in Telangana. Though he was opposed to bifurcation of the State he loved the people of Telangana as much as he loved the people of Seemandhra. Sharmila has been planning her padayaatra from October this year. She would like to remain among the people for almost 15 months before elections to Telangana State Assembly. She hopes to win over the people onto her side in the walkathon.
She has recently started social media wing naming it YSR Team. They have a log prepared for that wing. She has not been thinking in terms of having mainstream media house. She has been getting good press so far across the media spectrum. She might prefer it that way rather than owning a newspaper which is a costly proposition.
