Health condition stable, shifted to Hyderabad NIMS
Karimnagar: Possible BJP candidate for Huzurabad bypoll, Eatala Rajender, who was on ‘prajadeevana paadayatra,’ fell slightly ill on Friday. Eatala visited Pothireddipalli and Kondapaaka villages as part of paadayaatra in Huzurabad constituency which is said to be 12th day of his schedule. As he was on the way to Veenavanka Mandal, he complained of leg pains and high fever. First aid was provided in special bus and by Friday evening his health became stable. Party sources said that he was shifted to Hyderabad NIMS for better treatment.
Doctors advised him to give a break to paadayaatra for a few days. As they found him with severe leg pains due to relentless walking he was shifted to Hyderabad. Eatala’s wife Jamuna Reddy will continue paadayatra until Rajender recovers and joins her. BJP sources are making arrangements for Jamuna’s paadayaatra from Saturday.
Eatala who is enjoying the advantage in bypoll has to wait for the date from Election commission. If it gets delayed further, it will be tough to face the onslaught of ruling party, which is coming up with different schemes to capture vote bank and gain upper hand.
Eatala Rajender is receiving huge support from different sections of people across old Karimnagar district. Rajender became first TRS MLA to submit a resignation to the post of MLA after the formation of Telangana.
