YSRC Flays Narasimhan For Attending The Swearing-In
Vijayawada: YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday criticised Governor ESL Narasimhan for attending the swearing-in ceremony in Andhra Pradesh.
The Governor administered oath of office and secrecy to 11 members, who were inducted into the State cabinet, including four YSRC MLAs, who crossed over to ruling party.
“Today is the black day in the political history of Andhra Pradesh,” Jagan said, adding it was unconstitutional to induct into the Cabinet those who left their parent party and joined the ruling party. He also alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has violated rules with the support of the Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Since the Governor attended the unholy function, he should be blamed, Jagan said.
YSRC spokesperson Ambati Rambabu termed the induction of four defector-MLAs into the AP Cabinet as murder of democracy. Ambati said Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who was elected on TD ticket and crossed over to the ruling TRS to become a minister in KCR cabinet set a precedent for today’s development
