Yadadri to be developed as top spiritual centre
Hyderabad: The state government would strive to make Yadadri as a prominent religious and spiritual centre of Telangana, said IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao on Thursday.
Stating this in the State Assembly, KTR said the works related to the temple are progressing at a brisk manner. The government has allotted 250 acre for the development of the temple city of Yadadri.
KTR further stated that steps would be taken to ensure that devotees coming to the temple would not face any inconvenience or difficulty as required number of cottages would be constructed with adequate parking space. Apart from AC and non-AC rest rooms, a huge dining hall to cater to the needs of free food for 5,000 persons at a time and other facilities are being constructed, he added.
The minister said that if information regarding donors intending to construct cottages is brought to the notice of the government, steps would be taken to accommodate them suitably. Yadadri would be built as one of the important religious and tourist centres of Telangana, he observed.(NSS)
