Y.S. Jagan, This Is Not The Way!

Amaravati: Leader Of opposition, YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan’s attitude towards late Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s homage in Assembly led to criticism from political analysts.

Assembly started with a homage to late Bhuma Nagi Reddy which was boycotted by YSRCP, stating that the death was due to the internal pressure brought about by CM Chandrababu Naidu by objecting to Nagi Reddy’s inclusion in the cabinet.

Nobody knows what the exact reason for Bhuma’s death was, but the reaction and politicising the issue on day one was not at all a good move by Jagan, according to analysts.

Bhuma, who won on YSRCP, recently shifted to ruling party with a berth confirmation in Cabinet expansion which will take place after Ugadi. Sudden demise gave a big blow to party and Bhuma’s personal cadre in Kurnool and Ananthpur districts.

Bhuma Nagi Reddy’s daughter, sitting MLA Akhila Priya is expected to be inducted into the cabinet after the demise of Nagi Reddy, say TDP sources.

But Sakshi Media, which telecasted continuously that death of Bhuma was due to pressure created by Chandrababu by not taking him into cabinet gave a chance for Jagan to raise the issue in Assembly on Tuesday. The time he raised the issue was not appropriate when all members are paying homage and Bhuma’s daughter Akhila Priya was sitting in the Assembly. Jagan should have waited for some more days to raise the issue, political analysts strongly felt.
