Besides this, the traders in Nandyal town are happy after the road widening and feel that their business activity has improved. Their long-pending demand is now addressed and they are thus happy with the ruling party, which provides a cushion for the TDP.
Ministers Kaluva Srinivasulu, Somireddi Chandramohan Reddy and C Adinarayana Reddy have been leading the campaign, while Minister P Narayana is coordinating with the cadre. The TDP also has the advantage of being in power and has the support of the officials and the police. Above all, Chandrababu Naidu is a proven strategist when it comes to winning an election and it would be even much easier for him if it were the by-election.
