Hyderabad, January 18: Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu today invited Kandula Brothers of YSR Congress Party into BJP fold in Kadapa during a program.
Speaking on the occasion, Venkaiah said the Centre was keen on delivering the fruits of development to all sections across the nation including Andhra Pradesh. Stating that development has no politics, he said efforts will be made to set up an allied unit of DRDO and Steel Plant in Kadapa. The Centre will focus only on development without showing any partisan attitude to political parties like TDP, BJP or YSRCP, he added.
Venkaiah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi was making tireless efforts for speedy development of all States. Accusing the previous Congress-led UPA Government of destroying the nation, Venkaiah said good days are ahead as Narendra Modi is at the helm of affairs. He was also critical of the previous Congress government for splitting the State into two pieces unmindful of the plight of the people.
The Union minister also said the Modi Government is all set to offer more employment opportunities to youth to wean them away from extremism. He said the Centre has decided to set up a Defence Research Institute in the Rayalaseema region, which will get adequate waters on completion of Polavaram and Handri Neeva projects. The BJP Government will resolve all problems one after the other on priority basis, he added. (NSS)
