Undavalli Arun Kumar for Making Chandrababu A-1
RAJAHMUNDRY: Rajahmundry former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has demanded that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) name Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu as principal accused in the ‘note for vote’ episode.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, Undavalli hoped that ACB, which concentrated all these days only on contractors and officials’ corrupt practices, would divert its attention on political corruption from now onwards and root out corruption from politics.
Stating that one has to wait and watch as to what Telangana Government would do in regards to naming Naidu in “note for vote” episode, Undavalli said Revanth told nominated MLA Stephenson that he came as an agent of Naidu, who was heading a political party and is part and parcel of Central Government, and it would become a strong point to include Naidu’s name in the case.
Undavalli Arun Kumar said Revanth was mentioning Naidu’s name several times during his conversation with Elvis Stephenson and that revealed that Revanth did not know it was a sting operation. He reminded that the police had named former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao’s name in the past as an A-1 in a similar case. (NSS)
