Two Terrorists Killed At Pampore
Srinagar: The Indian army announced on Wednesday morning that two terrorist who holed up in a government building in Pampore were killed after fifty hours of gun-battle. The third terrorist suspected to be hiding in the building is being encircles, the army spokesman said. The attempt is to catch the terrorist live if possible. Three terrorists came in a boat and barged into Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI). One of them was killed on Tuesday and the second one on Wednesday. The commandos have been carrying out the flushing out operation carefully so that there would not be any casualties on their side.
In an elaborate operation, the army had used over 50 rockets, machine guns and hundreds of grenades against the terrorists. A soldier and a civilian were injured in the initial firing by the terrorist before they entered EDI building. The saffron-rich Pampore has been resounding with the sounds of blasts since Monday evening when the terrorists got into the building. This building is used to give skill training to Kashmiri youth. At present there are no students in the building.
