Hyderabad: TDP Telangana State party has urged the TRS government to resolve problems of handicapped persons in the State. Speaking to the media, TDP state cultural wing president P Saibaba alleged on Monday that the State government did nothing for the welfare of handicapped persons. The conditions of these persons has become worse as the government failed to provide any financial help, he said.
About 80 per cent disabled persons are not getting pensions. NGOs and voluntary organizations claimed that there were about 20 lakh handicapped persons in the State.
