TTDP team submits memo to Union ministers on State’s problems
Hyderabad: Telangana TDP has charged the TRS government with diverting Central funds sanctioned for developmental works for other schemes.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, party politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy gave details about the visit of a team to New Delhi where they met several Union ministers and submitted memoranda on the issues related to Telangana State. He said the Union ministers assured them that the Centre would look into the issues they mentioned, including setting up of railway coach factory at Kazipet, farmers’ problems, increase of Haj quota of Telangana State and so on.
The party delegation which visited New Delhi comprised State party president L Ramana, working president A Revanth Reddy, MP Garikapati Mohan Rao, former MP Ramesh Rathod, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, former minister E Peddireddy, Party general secretary M Amarnath Babu and State Minorities Cell president Tajuddin. –NSS
