TTD temples decked for New Year

Tirupati: TTD-managed temples in the area have geared up to welcome pilgrims for New Year darshan on January 1 (Sunday).

The temples of Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy at Srinivasa Mangapuram, Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru in Tiruchanoor, Appalaygunta Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy, Sri Kodanda Ramalayam, Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temples are prominent among those who donned new look with pandals, floral decorations and rangolis attracting pilgrim devotees.

Other important temples in other parts of the district, including Karvetinagaram Venugopalaswamy, Narayanavanam, Nagulapuram, Kosuvaripalle, Tarigonda etc. got an “all new look” for the New Year.

Besides the local temples, the TTD taken-over temples like Chandragiri Kodanda Ramalayam, Upamaka, Vontimitta, Tallapaka Chennakesava Swamy temple, Jammalamadugu Sri Narapura Venkateswara Swamy temple were also spruced up for the New Year.

TTD has made elaborate arrangements to meet the pilgrim rush in these temples with necessary security measures. -NSS
