TTD EO reviews science meet works
- Indian Science Congress in Tirupati from Jan 3 to 7
Tirupati: With less than a month to go for the prestigious Indian Science Congress in Tirupati which is scheduled to be held from January 3 to 7, TTD Executive Officer D Sambasiva Rao reviewed the arrangements with officials concerned.
The EO said “from our side TTD will provide darshan and accommodation to the delegates who participate in this mega science fete that is going to be hosted by SV University. A darshan facilitation center will also be set up to provide required services to the delegates.”
He later instructed TTD’s engineering wing to complete all the beautification works, including illumination, ornamental arches etc. within scheduled time to give a traditional aesthetic look to the temple city for the Science Congress.
The EO also said, there will be Vignana Jyothi Yatra with 3000 students from Amaravathi to Tirupati on December 31 for Students Congress which will be hosted by Mahila Varsity. “So all the pending works should complete on time”, he added.
He said TTD will open up a devotional book counter during the congress. Special cultural programmes will also be organised in Mahati Auditorium every day evening. -NSS
