TS Recognises Urdu As Second Language

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that the State government would recognise Urdu as second language in all districts. The CM assured the MIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi in the Assembly on Friday that the government would recognise the Urdu language as second language and said that there was a need to protect the Urdu language in the state.

The CM said that the state government was trying to own the Wakf lands across the Telangana state and a committee was appointed under the chairmanship of Bajireddy Govardhan. The panel will identify the Wakf lands’ whereabouts across the state. He asked the MIM MLAs to furnish any information to the panel by attending the committee’s meetings.
