TS People Would Not Have Allowed Digvijay To Enter

Former Deputy Speaker of United Andhra Pradesh Assembly Buragadda Vedavyas has accused AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh of doing a lot of harm to the people of the residual State of AP at the time of Bifurcation.

Amaravati: Former deputy Speaker Buragadda Vedavyas had said that people of Telangana State would not have allowed the Congress leader Digvijay Singh had injustice was done to the State at the time of bifurcation. He said that Congress leaders Digvijay Singh, Ahmad Patel and Gulam Nabi Azad have done a lot of injustice to the Andhra Pradesh during bifurcation. Still these leaders were visiting the State because of the soft nature of the people here.

Vedavyas took strong exception to Digvijay Singh camping in Vijayawada for the past two days and holding meeting with the Congress leaders. He said that it was Digvijay Singh and other Congress leades who have insulted the people of Seemandhra and have done a lot of injustice to the people at the time of bifurcation. He said that the Congress leaders have closed their eyes and ears for the Seemandhra people while holding consultations on the bifurcation. The objections and the cries of the people were not heard and answered by the Congress leaders at the time of bifurcation, he said and recalled the State wide agitation that was seen across the 13 districts those days. He said that people had come on to the streets voluntarily and raised their voices against the bifurcation.

The former Congress leader said that the issues like sharing of river waters, resources and revenues were not done properly in the bifurcation. The cries and fears of the people from Seemandhra on their rights over Hyderabad too were not addressed or heard, he said and blamed the Congress leaders for the miseries. He accused the Congress leaders including Digvijay Singh for their display of arrogance towards the Seemandhra people while taking up bifurcation. He recalled how the MPs from Seemandhra and the Cabinet Ministers from the region were ill-treated by Digvijay Singh and other Congress leaders who executed the bifurcation.

Vedavyas sought to ask the Congress leaders from the State for allowing and entertaining Delhi leaders like Digvijay Singh. He sought to advise the Congress leaders to disown this bunch of leaders if they have respect to the people. He also cautioned the people not to be carried away by the crocodile tears of the Congress leaders over the Special Category Status to the State. Stating that the Congress leaders have no right to raise any issue or talk of justice to Seemandhra as it was done by the same leaders, he had appealed to the people to reject the Congress and its talk about the Special Category Status.

Digvijay’s Tweet Angers Telangana

Digvijay Singh’s tweets about bogus ISIS sites have stirred up a row with the TRS.

Hyderabad: AICC senior and Telangana In-Charge Digvijay Singh’s tweet on Chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has stirred up a row with the young Minister KT Rama Rao frowning upon him and demanding an apology.

The former chief minister of undivided Madhya Pradesh, Digvijay Singh tweeted in the following way:

“Telangana police has set up a bogus ISIS site which is radicalizing Muslim Youths and encouraging them to become ISIS module. The issue is whether Telangana Police should be trapping Muslim Youths in becoming ISIS modules by posting inflammatory information? Is It Ethical? Is it Moral? Has KCR authorised Telangana Police to trap Muslim youths and encourage them to join ISIS?”

These tweets have angered the TRS Government deeply. It couldn’t fathom the basis for Digvijay’s remarks of bogus ISIS sites.

Rebutting the charge immediately, KTR tweeted, “Most irresponsible and reprehensible thing coming from a former CM. Request you to withdraw these comments unconditionally or provide evidence.”

Even the DGP of Telangana Anurag Sharma has condemned the charge made by Divijay Singh. He said, “Unfounded allegations from a senior responsible leader will lower the morale and image of the Police engaged in fighting anti-national forces.”

The TRS cadre has also taken exception to the accusation leveled by Digvijay Singh. Maganti Gopinath, TRS MLA lodged a complaint against the senior congress leader at Jubilee Hills Police Station.

“Mr. Digvijay’s irresponsible statement can create social unrest. Hyderabad is peaceful and Diggy’s words are aimed at creating trouble. He should be dealt with under the law.” the MLA stated in his complaint.

Congress seem to be unable to digest the pungent criticism made by KCR in his recent public meet at Warangal, where he branded the Congress leaders as imbecile, brainless duds.
