Hyderabad: Minister for Tribal Development and Culture A Chandulal on Tuesday said that the government has decided to set up 15 Degree Residential Colleges for Tribal Girls in the state.

Chandulal raps CPM over its anti-govt rant

‘Misinformation campaign’

Hyderabad: Telangana Tourism and Tribal Welfare Minister A Chandulal has lambasted the CPM for its rhetoric against the state government.

Talking to media persons in Hyderabad on Saturday, Chandulal took serious exception to the “baseless allegations of the CPM leaders against the government schemes during Mahajana Padayatra. The CPM leaders are criticizing the government for political mileage,” he said. Chandulal ridiculed the left party for its continuous protest programme and carrying out misinformation campaigns.

While the people are happy with the ruling party for implementing various welfare schemes, the CPM leaders are making futile efforts to target it, he said. The CPM should refrain from misguiding the people, he suggested. Since the beginning, the CPM leadership has been against the statehood and is now coming in the way of the development of the youngest State, he deplored. The CPM, Chandulal alleged, was envious of development and showing its bad face by making false allegations against the government.

The minister said the CPM is an opportunistic party and has no ethics and will have a truck with any other party for its survival. It is only the TRS party that has kept its promises and is implementing welfare schemes. It has completed a survey to accord Village Panchayat status to major tribal hamlets, Chandulal said. He also said the government took up decentralization of powers through new districts for speedy delivery of services and implementation of schemes, he claimed.
