TS excels in growth, welfare: KTR
WARANGAL: IT & Panchayat Raj Minister K Taraka Ramarao has said the State would stay in the first row in the matter of development and welfare programs.
The minister visited Varikol village under Parakala mandal in Warangal district on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the TRS government has fulfilled almost all assurances made during the elections though the government formed only ten months ago. The TRS government also introduced new schemes which were not mentioned in the manifesto, he pointed out. The government was providing superfine rice to the welfare hostels, Kalyana Laxmi scheme to the poor Dalit and Muslim minorities girls and six kg rice to each person in a family through ration cards, he said, adding the credit of extending Rs 1,000 pension to old age persons and widows and Rs 1,500 to handicapped persons, goes to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Later, the Minister visited Hasanparthi mandal and laid foundation stones to various developmental works along with Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said the Congress and Corruption are undivided children. The Congress party, which has no work to do, was making false allegations against the TRS government. He also alleged that the Congress was the reason for the poverty, corruption and irregularities. He made it clear that he was ready for any punishment if one proves irregularities in Mission Kakathiya works. (NSS)
