TRS Will Show Its Invincible Power: KTR
HYDERABAD: Minister for IT and Panchayat Raj Rama Rao Tuesday said that the TRS, which stormed into power in the newly-formed Telangana State, would show its invincible power to the nation through the 24th plenary of the party.
Rao spoke to the media after inspecting arrangements being made for the plenary in the LB Stadium along with his cabinet colleagues Padma Rao Goud and MLC Prabhakar.
He said party delegates numbering 36,000 to 40,000 would attend the mammoth meeting. During the plenary, resolutions will be passed giving constructive suggestions to the government and calling upon the cadre as how to transform Telangana into Bangaru Telangana, he added.
Rao also assured that the party was wedded to welfare of its toiling cadre because there will be no government without them. Disclosing that the party membership has crossed 50 lakhs, KTR said the party activists will be brought under insurance coverage. Six committees were burning midnight oil in making elaborate arrangements for the party convention, he added.
Stating that the party plenary has nothing to do with the ensuing GHMC elections, Goudsaid that the party, however, will take advantage through the party plenary. (NSS)
