TRS Leader’s Son Goes Rampage At Toll Plaza On Outer Ring Road
Hyderabad: Son of a TRS leader went on a rampage on the Outer Ring Road in the early hours of Tuesday. He and his friends attacked the staff with knives for asking them to pay the toll fee. The CCTV footage revealed that he chased one of the staff members and injured him. Later, the person was identified as Manish, son of TRS LB Nagar In-charge Ram Mohan Goud.
According to CCTV footage, Manish, along with his friends, came at tearing speed to the toll gate. They were found to be in an inebriated condition. When the staff asked them to pay the toll fee, he and his friends refused and began attacking the staff.
While two of the staff members were grievously injured, one of them was said to be in a critical condition. While the accused tried to escape in the car after the attack, police took them into custody at Mankal. A case under IPC Section 307 was booked against six of them.
Mean while, father of the main accused, Ram Mohan Goud, claimed that his son was sitting in the car and did not attack the staff. He also said they have paid for two way entry in the afternoon itself. It was Manish’s friend who got excited and not his son, he added.
