TRS and TDP leaders get into brawl again
WARANGAL: Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari and Telugu Desam leader Dayakar Rao today got into a verbal duel during a developmental program at Bammera village in Warangal. This brawl is the second one as both the leaders from Warangal had already got into an altercation a few weeks ago on a similar occasion.
After laying foundation stone for various works, Dayakar Rao alleged that the TRS Government was showing partiality towards segments of opposition leaders. This is hampering the development of their segments, he alleged and attributed it to Srihari’s intervention.
Rao literally accused Srihari of stalling the funds from the government for taking up developmental work at Palakurthy, his home segment. To this, Srihari rebutted and expressed serious discontent. The government would not show any partiality and all segments are equal to it, Srihari said.
When they exchanged words the situation turned into a heated argument.
Srihari said that the government would not show any partiality with regard to release of funds to any legislators. Rao repeatedly alleged that Srihari is coming in the way of development of his segment by pressing the government to deny funds. However, Srihari said that they would develop all the segments in the state to make it a golden Telangana with peoples’ cooperation. (NSS)
