- One BSF Jawan Killed and other Injured
Kashmir: Pakistan Terrorists have attacked 46 Rashtiya Rifles army camp in Baramulla. Residents of Baramulla in North Kashmir reported heavy firing in the town near army camp, police lines, and stadium at 10:30 pm on Sunday evening.
According to reports, three or four terrorists attempted a suicidal attack on the camp by throwing grenades. They tried to enter through a public park but were not able to breach 46RR camp. This attack happened after India’s surgical strikes, a few days ago, along the LoC. The terrorists are believed to have come from Jhelum river side.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah alerted the Kashmiris on Twitter: “Colleagues in Baramulla town are phoning with reports of massive gunfire in their vicinity. Prayers for all in the area.”
Exchange of firing is still going on between the army and the terrorists near the border at the time of writing this report at 12 am. Some reports said one BSF personnel killed and another injured in the firing.
