Telugu Couple Killed In Air Crash At Ohio

The duo had taken off from Cass County in Indiana and were heading to Parkersburg in West Virginia.

Beverly, Ohio: A Telugu couple, K Umamaheshwar Rao and Seethageetha, were killed when the Piper plane they were flying in crashed into a pond at Beverly in the Ohio State of USA.

They had taken off from Cass County in Logansport of Indiana for Parkersburg in West Virginia. Their plane went off the radar on Saturday morning and was reported missing around noon.

The crash was attributed to a technical snag. Umamaheshwar, 63, and 61-year-old Seethageetha were the only two on the plane.

The wreckage has since been recovered. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating.

Umamaheshwar was a psychiatrist with the Bowen Centre in Warsaw of Indiana. Further details are awaited.
