Telangana Vidyavantula Vedika celebrates ten years of struggle

Mancherial, September 14: Telangana Vidyavantula Vedika, a forum founded by Prof Jaya Shankar and Prof Kodandaram in 2004 has celebrated ten years of purposeful existence on Sunday here.

The meeting was presided over by President of TVV Mallepalli Laxmaiah. K Ramachandra Murthy, senior journalist, was the chief guest. Prof Kodanda Ram delivered key note address. The TVV units in ten Telangana districts organised general body meetings before converging on Mancherial.

Ramachandra Murthy exhorted the members of the TVV to continue the good work and help realise the dream of democratic Telangana where social justice would be the guiding principle for the government. He reminded the members that the Telangana movement is not over with the formation of Telangana State but it would continue to build a golden Telangana.

Prof Kodand Ram narrated the experience of the last ten years of TVV struggle.Mallepalli Laxmaiah made a fervent appeal to the people of Telangana to work for the realisation of professor Jaya Shanar’s dream of a peaceful and prosperous Telangana.
