Telangana Mahila Congress chief seeks jobs for women in SCCL under dependents quota
Hyderabad: Telangana Mahila Congress chief Nerella Sharada has demanded that the TRS government give an opportunity to women in jobs in the Singareni Collieries under dependents quota.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan hereA�on Thursday, Sharada asked Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, who was claiming that the restoration of dependent jobs was because of her, to tell whether she would not like to see women in position in Singareni. Sharada also alleged that discrimination towards women in the State was high.
She said it was not difficult for women to work in Singareni Collieries. She also lamented that the TRS government failed to accommodate a woman in the Cabinet as if they were not fit to be inducted. She also demanded that the State government reinstate some 300 employees, who were removed due to various reasons in the past. Sharada said the Mahila Congress would launch agitation in this regard. a��NSS
