Tearful Farewell To Dasari
Hyderabad: It was an end of an era in the film industry. Countless people came to bid a tearful farewell to the great director, producer, actor and writer- Dasari Narayana Rao. Lakhs of fans, actors, producers, directors and others of film industry attended his last rites at Dasari farm house at Moinabad. He was given State Honours by Telangana government.
A man known for his creative talents, Dasari was a politician too. He worked as a minister during UPA regime.
He was ailing with prolonged illness and breathed his last a KIMS Hospital. Later his body was shifted to his residence in Jubilee Hills. Many politicians paid tributes to Dasari.
On Wednesday, his body was shifted to Film Chambers from his residence. The whole Telugu film industry was there to pay tributes to one of their best. Later his body was taken to the farmhouse at Moinabad in a procession. His last rites were performed beside his wife’s tomb.
