TD betrays people of AP: Jagan
Amaravati: YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy tried his best to prove that the Telugu Desam (TD) and its ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are traitors in front of the people of AP.
Aiming guns at the government in the Assembly, Jagan said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu failed in his commitment to get Special Status Category which was promised during election campaign in 2014.
Naidu compromised with the centre over the issue which resulted in hurting the sentiments of people. It was Naidu who directed the proposal by passing a unanimous bill to the Centre seeking Special Status from Assembly, but now he changes the turn by saying special package is better than special category which proves double tongue of Naidu.
It was CM who stressed for 15 years of Special Status, Jagan said. Jagan reminded Naidu’s words quoting Tirupati election campaign by TD-BJP in 2014. Jagan said.
YS Jagan was successful in pushing ruling party into a tight spot in the Assembly over the issue of Special Status category.
