Hyderabad: Telangana BJP leaders today celebrated the party’s handsome victory in Maharashtra and Odisha civic polls, at State party headquarters at Nampally here. A large number of party leaders and workers participated in victory celebrations and burst crackers and distributed sweets.
Addressing the gathering, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu called upon party workers to strive for strengthening the party in both the Telugu States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The results of Maharashtra and Odisha civic polls should be taken as an inspiration and work hard to make the party an alternative in the Telugu-speaking States, Naidu exhorted. “The workers should educate the people about the welfare and developmental works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he added.
